Building the best online booking engine … since 2005

We sarted building hand-crafted, highly bespoke solutions, with the associated high cost! They were market-beaters and played a significant role in the online success of many businesses. Expensive, exclusive and ultra-high performance these £25k+ machines were for the brave or the rich.

On St Patricks Day 2011 we started a project that would change this. It blended our ideas, delivery platform and a world-class UX to create a cloud-based service that was both affordable and high performance. There was no point in building “just another online booking application” they are 10 a penny and mostly they are not very good. Ours had to be special and take the best bits of super-high-end systems and deploy it in such a way as to make it affordable. Pretty ambitious project and so far it’s going down well; one million live booking slots in it’s first year.

Our founder, Martin Dower, began his real Internet life by starting Connected in 1996 with Jerry Pank and went onto to co-funded two further startups (Ri5 and TopInterim) and then, in 2011 an innovative driving education startup, RMDI. Prior to all the Internet madness, Martin worked in sales and marketing and spent a lot of time in the US. Much of the work over the last 10 years has been successful at the leading edge such that the approach and methods are best practice examples for the industry and agencies. Over the years hundreds of companies have been helped to embrace and win in the online market. We’re proud of who we’ve helped and how far we’ve travelled but not complacent about the future.
